The material of this suit is specifically made out of a sports grade opencell material, to enhance it’s softness and flexibility for spearfishing. As with all performance driven products, Opencell wetsuits need some simple care instructions, and should not be mishandled.
- Always hang your wetsuit up in a dry area out of the sun after washing it
- Never wash your wetsuit with common household soaps, wetsuits require only a mild detergent
- No wetsuit should ever be folded, rather roll your wetsuit for travel, and hang it up for storage
- We will show you specifically how to don and doff your wetsuit in order to ensure longevity
In South Africa, for the Atlantic ocean (9-12 degress Celcius) we prefer a 5mm Open Cell wetsuit, whereas in the Indian Ocean of our coast we dive in 3mm Open Cell wetsuits.
